Sustainable Development

We see principles and ethics underpinning sustainability, and develop effective methodolgies that lead to a maturity of approach to the pressing issues of sustainable development.

We focus on:

  • What constitutes a sustainable direction?
  • Arriving at sustainable development principles and ethics
  • Using the BS8900 framework, ‘Managing Sustainable Development’
  • Making sustainable decisions
  • Embedding a culture of sustainability
  • Mapping maturity
  • Links to networks
  • Regulation and reputation

We offer consultancy or courses that develop this approach in detail. We prefer you to come to us, to benefit from the inspiring environment of the Lake District which is both an expression of centuries of balance and interdependence between man and the environment, but also a system under pressure – and a source of some solutions.
