David Jackman; pioneer in developing ethics and values in mainstream corporate culture. As the first Head of Business Ethics and Education at the Financial Services Authority (FSA) he established an Ethical Framework for Financial Services that formed the basis for major initiatives on ethics and outcome based regulation and Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) and elements of the Retail Distribution Review (RDR), now mainstream in the UK and followed in some overseas jurisdictions.

Chair and founder of the Ethics Foundation, which offers the Ethics Mark® across all business sectors; Chair of the British Standards Committee on Sustainable Development, author of BS8900 and currently developing BS8904.

First CEO of the Financial Services Skills Council, first Head of Education at the Securities and Investments Institute and similar roles at London Stock Exchange/SFA and IMRO. Brought ethics education and new standards to compulsory qualifications and cross-sector education, including operation functions.

UK Committee for ISO 26000 Social Responsibility standard. Contributed to Higgs and Walker Reviews, FORGE and IBE.

David is Visiting Professor in Corporate Ethics and governance and regular lecturer, consultant, conference speaker, author and media commentator on ethics, compliance, governance and sustainable development across all sectors in the UK and internationally.
